Sunderland’s Early Promise

Brobbey’s determination did not fade, and in the dying stages of the game, he set up Lutsharel Geertruida, whose shot from the edge of the area cannoned off the post, leaving Sunderland fans holding their breath. Despite these efforts, Sunderland’s inability to find the back of the net on a day that saw the visitors struggle was cruel.
