According to Sky Sports, Juventus have made Alisson Becker their primary transfer target for this summer, and they will set aside both time and significant funds to sign the Liverpool goalkeeper.
Juventus have been credited with strong interest in Alisson before, and it seems they’ve decided that this would be the transfer window when they bring in a world-class goalkeeper. The 33-year-old Brazil international certainly falls into that category, having been one of the best individual performers for Liverpool since he joined the club in the aftermath of the disastrous 2018 Champions League final.
As for Alisson himself, he is believed to be open to returning to Italy, having spent two years at AS Roma, but with a year left on his recently extended contract, he will respect any decision Liverpool make in this matter.
Liverpool are currently without Alisson due to a hamstring injury, as well as their first backup option Giorgi Mamardashvili, and third-choice Freddie Woodman was the man between the sticks in the last two Premier League matches – a victory over Crystal Palace and defeat to Manchester United.
