After months of twists and turns, the long-awaited battle between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is finally official.
Fury and Joshua have been linked to a bout with one another for over a decade, dating back to when each of them were reigning world heavyweight champions.
While they may have both lost their titles since then, the fight still remains a huge one in the sport, and it looked like it would go ahead with no problems when they each came through interim bouts back in July, as Fury defeated Mariusz Wach and Joshua overcame a scare to beat Kristian Prenga.
A number of issues arose since then though, primarily the location of the bout, with event organisers Sela and broadcaster Netflix wanting to stage it at Madison Square Garden in New York, while Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn felt that the clash had to be in the UK.
It looked like the disagreement could have led to the fight falling through, especially with Fury instead publicly turning his attention to former foe Oleksandr Usyk, but eventually wiser heads prevailed and it has now been confirmed that the all-British showdown is on.
The pair will meet at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Friday 11 December, with the ring walk expected to come after midnight in order to accommodate the US audience.

There have already been a number of predictions from the boxing world for the highly-anticipated contest, one of them coming from heavyweight contender Otto Wallin, who is one of just six fighters to have shared the ring with both men.
