Oso, 23, has emerged as a live market opportunity because he has “less than a year left on his contract” and Sevilla are struggling to find an agreement with his camp. The current issue is clear, the club are “keen on extending it”, but “are finding his agent’s demand too high, and this has put the renewal on hold”.

Tottenham are now named alongside Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest in the race. The report states that “Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are in the picture for Joaquín Oso and are awaiting Sevilla’s final decision.” Newcastle are described as the club to have already made contact, while it remains “unclear whether Spurs and Nottingham Forest have made approaches”.
There is broader competition too. Villarreal, Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Fiorentina are also credited with interest, after Oso’s appearances last season raised his profile. Sevilla set transfer deadline over contract talks
The strongest development centres on Sevilla’s stance. According to the report, the club “have issued an ultimatum to Joaquín Oso’s representatives” and “have given them a deadline to close the renewal negotiations immediately.” If no agreement is reached, Sevilla will “make him available in the market with a €10m starting price”.
