Nottingham Forest could sell Morgan Gibbs-White in the summer transfer window, if they get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, according to Football Insider.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “He’s a top player, Gibbs-White, 12 goals in the Premier League. That’s the most of any midfielder in the league.
“Look, Forest have him on a long-term contract now, they’ll be hoping they can keep hold of him.
“They don’t want a repeat of last year where they stepped in to stop him going to Tottenham and all the drama that went along with that.
“The problem is, if they are to suffer the fate of relegation, it would seem inevitable that Gibbs-White would move on.
“There will be interest in him and he won’t want to play in the Championship next season.
“Forest are confident they can keep hold of him if they do secure Premier League survival because he’s on that long contract there and they don’t want to sell.”
