Michelle Obama dispels her rocky marriage rumors as she sings his praises to cheering crowd: ‘I’m not done y’all!’

Former First Lady Michelle Obama sang her husband’s praises during the opening ceremony of his Presidential Center in Chicago, shutting down rumors that the two have been on the outs.

Michelle delivered a lengthy speech during the ceremony, kicking off her remarks by announcing that she wanted to take some time to ‘fully sing his praises.’

The loving tribute seemed to dispel widespread accusations that the couple was living separate lives after leaving the White House, fueled by their lack of public appearances with one another.

She dedicated almost ten minutes to gushing about Barack, forcing the former president to wipe a tear from his eye.

‘You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life, and of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both,’ she said.

Michelle said that there had not been a single second in their marriage where she was not ‘left in awe.’

She praised her husband for his ‘truest essence, stubborn optimism and unflinching courage.’

Michelle also paid tribute to Barack’s ‘dazzling brilliance, unpretentious decency, ferocious work ethic and unshakable moral fiber.’

Michelle also took the opportunity to slam rumors that plagued her husband for years, including false accusations that he was not born in the US and questions surrounding his patriotism and faith.

She said that throughout the stress, her husband never ‘lashed out in frustration’ or ‘buckled under pressure.’

When the crowd erupted in applause, Michelle was quick to silence them, declaring, ‘I’m not done. Y’all not done. So much to say.’

The former first lady then rattled off a list of her husband’s accomplishments in office, citing his work on the economy and healthcare.

‘Barack, there are no words to express how proud I am of the way you showed up and continue to show up every single day,’ she continued.

‘It has been an honor to be by your side. You have made me a better person and have given us all an example that we should strive to emulate, and I hope you know there is truly no higher calling than that.’

Michelle did not address Donald Trump by name, but knocked his administration by declaring that ‘immigrants’ and ‘native kids’ are a part of the ‘beating heart’ of America.

She concluded her speech by confessing her hopes for the center and how it will impact the Chicago community.
