Liverpool are in a fierce battle with several clubs to sign highly rated Chilean right winger Dario Osorio from FC Midtjylland, according to Danish outlet Campo.
Over the past decade, Midtjylland have established themselves as one of the most productive clubs for developing young talent, helping players such as Simon Kjær, Joachim Andersen and Alexander Sørloth progress during their careers.
Osorio is the latest player to emerge from that setup, having enjoyed a rapid ascent since arriving from Chilean outfit Club de Fútbol Universidad de Chile in the summer of 2023.
The 22-year-old has quickly become an important figure for the Hedens Drenge, making 117 appearances since his arrival while contributing 23 goals and 18 assists.
His influence has also been evident during Midtjylland’s recent trophy-winning campaigns. He played a role in their 2023-24 Danish Superliga success before helping them claim the Danish Cup this season, starting the final as they defeated arch-rivals Copenhagen 1-0 to lift the trophy.
Internationally, Osorio has collected 22 caps for Chile since making his senior debut in 2022, and it’s no surprise his consistent high-level form for both club and country has piqued the interest of several clubs, including Liverpool.
This is according to Campo, which claims the Merseyside giants have made enquiries about signing the exciting right winger this summer.

During the 2025-26 Danish Superliga season, Osorio averaged 3.41 attempts per game and 1.28 shots on target, placing him within the league’s top one per cent of wide attackers in both categories.
The 22-year-old has also produced six goals and six assists in league action. It was in one of the league performances that his manager, Mike Tullberg, described him as…
