Fulham are among the clubs exploring a move for Troy Parrott this summer, with TALKSPORT reporting growing interest in the AZ Alkmaar striker ahead of a potentially busy market.
Parrott, now 24, has rebuilt his trajectory impressively in the Netherlands. Since leaving Tottenham Hotspur for AZ two years ago, the Republic of Ireland international has produced 51 goals in 95 appearances, numbers that have placed him firmly back on the radar of clubs across Europe. After a prolonged period of loans during his time in north London, this is the first stage of his career where momentum, output and status have aligned.

Fulham Weigh Up Striker Options
Fulham’s interest makes obvious sense. Raul Jimenez has returned to Wolves, creating a gap in the forward line and prompting the club to examine the market for another striker. Rodrigo Muniz remains an important option, while Jonah Kusi-Asare has arrived permanently from Bayern Munich in a reported €6 million, £5.1 million, deal after his loan spell. Even so, Fulham appear keen to add a more established scorer, and Parrott fits that profile.
The finances are also notable. Tottenham are understood to hold a 20 per cent sell-on clause, while Parrott is thought to be available for around £25 million. For suitors, that is a meaningful outlay, though one increasingly aligned with the market for a striker entering his prime and coming off sustained production in a respected European league.
European Competition Builds Around Parrott
This is not a straightforward run for Fulham. Ajax and PSV Eindhoven are both credited with interest, and each could offer familiarity with Dutch football plus the attraction of competing at the top end of the Eredivisie. PSV’s recent domestic dominance adds further appeal, particularly for a player who may now feel ready to challenge for major honours.
