There is a growing sense that Aznou has used pre-season exactly as he needed to. After a difficult first year following his move from Bayern Munich for around £8million, the 20-year-old has responded with the kind of performances that force internal discussion. The key detail is clear, Everton “have not informed the Moroccan international of any plans to send him out on loan as of yet”, and “as things stand, the Toffees intend to retain him as part of David Moyes’ squad for 2026/27.”
