Tottenham full-back Djed Spence is clearly edging closer to finalising his transfer to Inter Milan, with the player seen arriving in Italy and greeting the club’s fans.
Spence has had some strong performances for Spurs, as well as for the England national team at this summer’s World Cup, so looks an exciting addition for Inter.
Many Tottenham fans would probably have preferred to see Spence stay at the club, but it’s perhaps also not too surprising that the north Londoners have had to make some significant sales after two really poor seasons in a row.

Spence is seemingly following another big name in Cristian Romero out of the Spurs exit door, and it’s perhaps inevitable that players of this calibre would want to leave after the team suffered consecutive 17th place finishes in the Premier League.

THFC have also spent big money this summer on new signings like Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke, so they’ll probably do well to balance the books by offloading a few names as well.
Djed Spence to join fellow England international at Inter Milan
Spence is not the first English player to be joining Inter this summer, with John Stones also heading to the San Siro after his contract at Manchester City expired.
In recent years, we’ve also seen Ashley Young playing for the Nerazzuri, while there are also English players at the San Siro with Inter’s rivals AC Milan in the form of Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
