Confirmed line-ups from the Emirates Stadium

Premier League football returns after the international break as champions Arsenal entertain Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium for Saturday’s 12:30pm kick-off.

The Gunners slumped to a hugely disappointing 3-0 defeat away to Brighton before the break so Mikel Arteta will be demanding a response from his players this afternoon.

David Raya keeps goal for Arsenal once again while Ben White starts at right-back meaning Jurrien Timber is on the bench as the club continues to manage his workload.

Ezri Konsa was a doubt after picking up a knock while away with England but he’s passed fit to start alongside Gabriel Magalhaes today. With William Saliba still out it’s a big boost to have Konsa available.

Riccardo Calafiori keeps his place at left-back with Piero Hincapie on the bench. Myles Lewis-Skelly starts in midfield for Arsenal while Declan Rice lines-up in the middle of the park after being given a rest during the break. That means Bruno Guimaraes and Martin Zubimendi have to make-do with places on the bench along with Mikel Merino.

Martin Odegaard sustained a minor knock to his ankle while playing for Norway but he’s fit to captain Arsenal today. Christos Tzolis has been ruled out for a few weeks with an injury that he sustained while playing for Greece so Noni Madueke is recalled on the left wing.

Bukayo Saka keeps his place on the right flank and there is a huge boost for Arsenal as Kai Havertz is fit to start up front after being sent home early from international duty with a hamstring issue.

Viktor Gyokeres was in excellent goal-scoring form for Sweden during the break but he has to make-do with a place on the bench today along with Max Dowman and Eberechi Eze.
