Chelsea have reportedly made contact to beat Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign Eduardo Conceicao, as per Caught Offside.
After enduring a dire campaign last term, the Blues decided to appoint Xabi Alonso as the new manager this summer. They started the new campaign with three consecutive victories across all competitions but accumulated only one point from the last three league matches before the international break.
As a result, Alonso’s side are currently languishing in mid-table with seven points from five matches. But they are just two points behind fourth-placed Brentford.
Amid this situation, Chelsea have continued to explore options on the market to bolster the squad next year. Caught Offside claim that the West London club have invested heavily in youngsters in recent years and have now identified Conceicao as a serious option.

Palmeiras have developed several young players in recent years, with Endrick and Estevao notable names. Now, Conceicao is emerging as their next big talent.
The 16-year-old is a technically gifted left-winger by trait. He would be a shrewd acquisition for Chelsea with a view to the long-term future should they purchase him.
However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the West London club eventually manage to…
