Brentford are weighing up an experienced addition to their forward line, with The Athletic reporting that the club are in discussions with Callum Wilson over a potential move as a free agent.
The 34 year old striker is currently without a club after his contract with West Ham expired at the end of last season. While no agreement has yet been reached, Wilson is understood to be one of several attacking options Brentford are assessing during the current transfer window.

Brentford have built much of their recent success around intelligent recruitment, often favouring players entering their prime or younger talents with significant resale value. Wilson would represent a different profile, bringing years of Premier League experience rather than long term development potential.
