Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid is drifting towards another important winter decision, with CADENA SER reporting that Aston Villa are among the leading contenders to sign the Brazilian on loan in January. After only a month of the new campaign, the early signs point to a familiar problem for the young forward, a lack of minutes in a crowded attacking department and a growing sense that a temporary move may again be the most practical route.
There had already been a conversation before the season between player and coach José Mourinho regarding his place in the squad picture. What has followed in the opening weeks appears to have reinforced that message. Endrick remains highly regarded by Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti, but at club level he is struggling to move up the attacking pecking order.

Real Madrid pathway looks blocked
The challenge facing Endrick is clear. Real Madrid have elite options across the front line, with Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, Brahim DÃaz and others all competing for involvement, while further returning and emerging options only deepen that competition. For a young striker trying to build rhythm and confidence, the landscape currently looks unforgiving.
That is why the Endrick transfer conversation is already beginning to gather pace ahead of the winter market. He stayed this season hoping to alter his status, yet the opening fixtures have done little to suggest a breakthrough is imminent. If that does not change quickly, a January loan feels increasingly logical for all parties.
Aston Villa loan move gains momentum
Aston Villa’s interest is particularly notable. Unai Emery has shown repeatedly that he can improve young talent, while also integrating technically gifted forwards into competitive, high-pressure environments. For Endrick, Villa would offer intensity, top-level coaching and, crucially, a pathway to meaningful minutes in a side with serious ambitions.
