Robertson arrival signals serious Tottenham intent
Tottenham have secured a signing rich in experience, authority and elite level achievement, with Andy Robertson set to join the club on 1 July after the expiration of his Liverpool contract.
For Tottenham, this is a move shaped by more than reputation. Robertson arrives as Scotland captain, a Champions League winner, a two time Premier League champion and one of the most consistent left backs of his generation. At 32, he brings the kind of accumulated knowledge that cannot be manufactured on the training pitch. It is earned in title races, European finals and dressing rooms where standards are either maintained or exposed.
