Predicted Manchester United XI vs Como

Manchester United, now six games without a win in all competitions after being held to a draw by Leeds United at the weekend, switch focus to the Champions League again as they face Como on matchday three on Wednesday at 18:45 CET on Wednesday.

The Red Devils are on the road for the second straight clash in the European Cup and a third game on the bounce, so they will face a stern test against a quality Serie A side at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Here is a look at the potential starting line-up Michael Carrick is expected to employ.

Goalkeeper – Senne Lammens is expected to keep his place in goal in spite of making an error leading to goal against Atletico Madrid last week.

Defenders – Leny Yoro may continue to play as the right back for Man United and with Luke Shaw still expected to be out of contention for the visitors, Diogo Dalot may fill in on the left side of the back four.

Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez might round off an unchanged defensive quartet for the Premier League giants.

Santos drops out as Cunha plays on the left wing

Midfielders – Carlos Baleba and Andrey Santos played in a double pivot away at Leeds United on Sunday. While the former Brighton & Hove Albion star may continue in the playing eleven, the ex-Chelsea man might drop out, making way for Youri Tielemans to step back from his offensive role in the previous game. Bruno Fernandes, consequently, is set to be the number 10.

Amad Diallo did not play particularly well in the Premier League game at the weekend but could continue to feature on the right wing, and Matheus Cunha may come into the playing eleven on the left flank.

Forward – Bryan Mbeumo is arguably Manchester United’s best attacker this season and is likely to be the number nine again versus Como on Wednesday.

Here is a look at how the Red Devils might look on paper.
