Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Savio from Manchester City and the attacker has been all smiles posing in his new kit.
New Spurs boss Roberto De Zebri has been busy rebuilding his squad this summer after Tottenham finished just above the relegation zone in 17th last season.
Reshaping his attack has been a priority for De Zebri and Savio emerged as a prime target with Tottenham renewing their interest having been heavily linked with the Brazilian last summer.
After lengthy talks with Manchester City, a deal was finally agreed between the two clubs late last week and Savio was given permission to travel to North London to undergo his medical and finalise terms with Spurs.
Those formalities have now been completed and Tottenham have announced on their official website that Savio has joined the club on a long-term contract from City.
Neither club has publicly confirmed the fee, but Sky Sports News are one of several leading media outlets reporting that Tottenham have paid an initial £75m with a further £10m in add-ons, taking the potential figure to £85m.

The 22-year-old has now been photographed posing in his new Spurs kit, while it’s also been revealed that he’ll wear the No.17 shirt number this coming season.
Savio joined Man City in 2024 but struggled to hold down a regular first team spot. He managed just one goal and one assist in 24 Premier League appearances last season, with the attacker starting just seven of those matches.
The 13-cap Brazilian international has predominantly played from the left wing during his career, but he’s also comfortable playing from the right so he’ll give De Zebri options in the final third.
Savio’s arrival takes Tottenham’s summer spending over £300m so the club are clearly backing their new boss. Sandro Tonali is another big-money arrival having been signed for £100m from Newcastle.
Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke have also arrived in big-money deals from West Ham and Brighton respectively, while Andy Robertson and Marcos Sensi have been signed on free transfers.
