Donald Trump has today been spotted wearing thick make-up on his hand to cover up significant bruising during the World Economic Forum.Â
The bruise was seen on Trump’s left hand as he attended the ‘Board of Peace’ meeting at the annual gathering of global business and political leaders in the Swiss town of Davos.Â
A large purple mark could be seen beside the president’s thumb, index and middle fingers.Â
But as Trump met Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky just an hour later, a thick layer of makeup could be seen on his hand, covering the apparent bruise up.Â
Rumours of Trump’s apparently deteriorating health have long swirled. In September, as the Republican president set off from Washington to make a formal state visit to the UK, he was seen wearing a large patch of what appears to be foundation on his right hand.Â
Officials claimed over the summer that Trump has been diagnosed with ‘chronic venous insufficiency,’ with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt adding Trump´s hand bruising is ‘consistent’ with irritation from his ‘frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.’
But this doesn’t explain how Trump, who is right-handed, now has a bruise on his left hand.Â
One social media commentator said, following the release of the photos: ‘If there’s something wrong with the President’s health, the public needs to know about it.’

The Daily Mail has contacted the White House for comment on the matter. Â
In August, a sizeable bruise on Trump´s right hand was exposed during his meeting in the Oval Office with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.
He was similarly bruised as he took in a golf outing with former Major League pitcher Roger Clemens, whom Trump later vouched for a spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
That follows another incident when many noticed the president’s hand was covered with a noticeable splotch of makeup that did not match his skin tone.Â
Trump claimed that he ‘did well’ in his physical exam last April at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he underwent extensive testing, including a cognitive assessment.
The exam, conducted by Trump’s new physician Dr Sean Barbabella, lasted nearly five hours.
Leavitt also revealed the president had ‘noticed mild swelling in the lower legs’ last July and was evaluated by the White House medical unit.

Leavitt said he underwent a ‘comprehensive examination’ which included ‘diagnostic vascular studies.’
‘Bilateral, lower extremity ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency,’ Leavitt stated.
She said it’s a ‘common condition’ in individuals over the age of 70 and there was ‘no evidence’ of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.
‘The president remains in excellent health,’ Leavitt said overall.
Trump has a history of optimistic health reports, including a purported perfect score on a cognitive test in 2018.Â
