After confirming Jonathan Clauss’ package and acknowledging uncertainty about Dimitri Payet’s presence against Les Merlus, the Marseille coach was asked about the friction with certain players at the start of the season. “We talked about it a little too much. It’s football. I try to focus on progress. I think I have the same level. We must succeed in moving forward and not stop on these subjects”dropped the Croatian technician in front of the media.

A peaceful relationship with supporters
Solid third in Ligue 1, the Marseille club is having a very good season under the orders of Tudor, who arrived last summer to everyone’s surprise after the sensational departure of Jorge Sampaoli. If the Croatian’s personality made a large part of OM supporters skeptical at the start, the results today prove him right and confirm his ideas. “I don’t know if you’ve ever seen me on the street but I try to stay true to myself. In Marseille, it’s an exceptional atmosphere. I know it is also important for the players”he explained.
The title, Tudor kicks in touch
Then asked about the chances of OM getting closer to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming weeks in order to be able to fight for the title, Tudor was as brief as realistic. “What I dream of is a great victory tomorrow…”he replied before discussing further the progress of his team. “What I can say is that I’m very happy with our last match.
