Personal terms agreed with Tammy Abraham

Aston Villa are advancing in talks to sign Tammy Abraham as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Midlands club has accelerated its pursuit of the former Chelsea striker, aiming to bring him back to Villa Park to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season.

Following the departure of Donyell Malen to AS Roma earlier this window, Unai Emery has prioritised a proven goalscorer, and Abraham has emerged as the clear frontrunner.

However, the complexity of the transfer lies in his contract situation; while currently on loan at Besiktas from AS Roma, the Turkish giants reportedly hold a purchase obligation that has complicated negotiations.

Despite these hurdles, Romano reports that club-to-club talks are “moving fast” and are “well underway.”

While the deal is not yet done, the willingness of all parties to find a solution, combined with the player’s explicit desire to return to the Premier League, suggests a deal could be imminent.

“Aston Villa are advancing in talks with Besiktas to get Tammy Abraham deal done. Agreement sealed with the player as Tammy opened doors to #AVFC move. Club to club talks moving fast, not done yet but well underway.”
