HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD

It is the first time this season that we’re coming up against Rehanne Skinner’s side, with this fixture originally postponed in the wake of the Queen’s death last September. We’ve played each other eight times in the league before this encounter, with the London club getting promoted into the WSL in the same year that we did at the end of 2018/19. The Reds are currently unbeaten against them, winning seven and drawing one.

Our first season following the team’s formation in 2018 saw us earn comprehensive victories against Spurs in the Championship, beating them 5-1 at home and 4-1 away. Since promotion into the WSL, we’re still yet to lose against them, earning four victories across the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns. The first time we dropped any points against Spurs was last season, after conceding an injury-time equaliser to draw 1-1 away at The Hive. The Reds triumphed 3-0 in the return match at Leigh Sports Village.
