Chelsea are weighing up a loan move for Douglas Luiz as they look to add depth to midfield.
The Brazil international is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Juventus but could be on the move again before the end of the season.

Chelsea are considering a loan deal to bring Douglas Luiz to Stamford Bridge until the summer.
The club see him as a reliable option who could strengthen their midfield rotation during a demanding run of fixtures which sees them juggle four competitions.
Luiz’s experience in the Premier League is a key factor. He previously spent five seasons at Aston Villa, where he became a consistent presence in midfield and a trusted performer in high-pressure games.
Douglas Luiz struggles at Nottingham Forest
Luiz joined Nottingham Forest on loan from Juventus last August but has struggled to secure a regular role, particularly under current manager Sean Dyche.
He has made 13 appearances in all competitions and has started only twice in the Premier League.
A hamstring injury disrupted his early months at the City Ground, but opportunities have been limited even since returning to full fitness.
Forest’s loan agreement includes an obligation to buy if Luiz reaches a set number of appearances, as well as a €30 million option should he fall short of that target.
Why did Douglas Luiz leave Juventus?
Juventus signed Luiz from Aston Villa in the summer of 2024 for €50 million plus add-ons.
But despite the huge fee and expectation, he failed to settle in Turin and struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.
The move back to England was meant to offer a fresh start for Luiz, but his situation at Forest has left his short-term future uncertain once again.
