Columbus Exposition and Racing chooses Caesars Entertainment as operator partner in 75m Nebraska casino and racetrack

American casino and hotel company, Caesars Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: CZR), has partnered with Columbus Exposition and Racing in a deal that will see the Reno, Nevada-based firm build and operate a Harrah’s branded casino and racetrack in the city of Columbus, Nebraska.

New Jersey legislators approve fixed-odds wagering for horseracing

Legislators in the American state of New Jersey reportedly passed a measure early last week that could allow local horseracing aficionados to begin placing fixed-odds wagers from as soon as next month. According to a report from the New York Post newspaper,
