Arsenal will have a dilemma on their hands in the summer when Folarin Balogun returns from his loan spell at Reims, journalist Charles Watts has claimed.
What’s the word?
The 21-year-old has been in stunning form, scoring 14 league goals in 20 league games, which has made him Ligue 1’s current top scorer ahead of the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
With Eddie Nketiah also in great form for Arsenal as he covers for star striker Gabriel Jesus, Mikel Arteta has now been presented with a problem, as he will have three quality forwards in the squad once Balogun returns.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Watts claimed that Arsenal will have a big decision to make over Balogun – whether they should keep him in the squad, loan him out again, or sell for potentially a large fee.

He said: “Do you integrate him now into the first team at the end of the season? But if you do, how many opportunities is he going to get? Obviously, Jesus is going to be there, Nketiah is proving himself as very much a Premier League striker now, so what happens with Balogun if you bring him back; is he going to be the third choice?
“Is he going to barely play next season? Will that be good for his development? Do you move him on? Do you move him back out on loan again and really see if he can kick on and have another successful loan spell – probably this time in the Premier League rather than send him out abroad?
