The Danish international arrived at Stamford Bridge from Villarreal in a £20 million deal amid significant expectations. Chelsea viewed him as a long term solution between the posts, handing him a seven year contract after his impressive performances in La Liga.

Jorgensen has found opportunities limited since arriving in West London.
