According to reporting from The Times, the North London club have identified the 18 year old as a key summer target as Mikel Arteta continues to reshape his midfield options ahead of another title challenge.
While no formal approach has yet been made to Lille, Arsenal are already engaging with the player’s representatives in what could become one of the more intriguing stories of the transfer window.
Arteta Building Midfield Depth for Long Season
Arsenal’s recruitment strategy appears increasingly clear.
Arteta is looking to create a four man midfield rotation comprising Declan Rice, MartÃn Zubimendi, Myles Lewis Skelly and a new addition capable of competing at the highest level.
Bouaddi fits that profile perfectly.
The Morocco international has rapidly established himself as one of Europe’s standout young midfielders and, despite his age, already possesses significant top level experience.

Lille are under no immediate pressure to sell and have reportedly placed a valuation of around £60million on their academy graduate.
That figure reflects both his current ability and enormous potential.
Competition will also be fierce, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea all monitoring developments.
Lille Starlet Continues Remarkable Rise
Bouaddi’s progression has been extraordinary.
He helped Lille secure third place in Ligue 1 and qualification for the Champions League, while also producing eye catching performances on the biggest stages.
His Champions League debut came in a memorable 1-0 victory over Real Madrid on his 17th birthday in October 2024.
A month later, he was named man of the match against Juventus, further underlining why Europe’s elite are circling.
Internationally, he recently impressed during Morocco’s 1-1 draw with Brazil at the World Cup.
