Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois top the bill at the Co-op Live in Manchester in what has all the makings of a heavyweight thriller.
WBO champion Wardley was elevated to champion after a win over Joseph Parker and makes his first defence against Dubois, who returns to the ring for the first time since a July 2025 stoppage defeat to heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk.
Both men possess incredible power and come to the ring with something to prove. For the undefeated Wardley, it is an opportunity to solidify his status as champion and show that he can overcome a truly world-class puncher. Dubois looks to win back a belt by silencing those who say he lacks the proper grit required at the top level.
The Manchester main event, broadcast live on DAZN, has appropriately been billed ‘Don’t Blink’, with the two heavyweights boasting a knockout-to-win ratio of around 95% percent.

Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois final result
Daniel Dubois TKO 11. Incredible brutality – Daniel Dubois becomes a two-time heavyweight world champion as Fabio Wardley displays one of the best chins witnessed in some time. It was heart-thumping stuff from the off, with Wardley dropping Dubois in the first ten seconds. ‘DDD’ went down again in the third, but the rounds he stayed on his feet were his. A ramrod jab and accuracy that zoned in as the fight went on saw Wardley a bloody mess. Though he didn’t go down, the Ipswich man was stumbling around the ring as he came out to fight in the tenth, and many will question the corner’s decision not to throw the towel, even despite his incredible ability to end a fight at any stage. It was referee Howard Foster who had seen enough in the eleventh. Not only the greatest heavyweight of the year, but one of the very best of all time. Wardley suffered his first loss, but quite incredibly, still hasn’t been put down. His stock does not go down after this. As for Dubois, he proves the doubters wrong in the best way.
