According to a surprising report from The Sun, backup goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is currently filming his official farewell video ahead of a guaranteed summer exit.

Arriving from Fenerbahçe with a highly respectable pedigree, Bayindir was billed as the perfect, competitive understudy to new number one Andre Onana. However, the reality of his time in England has been brutally disappointing.
Even when Onana jetted off to the Africa Cup of Nations mid-season, or when the Cameroonian shot-stopper suffered through a highly publicised, rocky patch of form early in the campaign, the managerial staff stubbornly refused to rotate the squad.
Bayindir has been entirely starved of meaningful Premier League minutes, effectively becoming a very expensive spectator.
For a 28-year-old goalkeeper entering the absolute prime of his career, sitting in the shadows simply isn’t an option if he wants to maintain his spot in the national team set-up.
From the club’s perspective, pulling the plug on this experiment makes total, ruthless sense.
