Ranking the Premier League’s Top Goalkeepers in 2026/27

Comparing Premier League goalkeepers is not as simple as looking at clean sheets. David Raya benefits from Arsenal allowing very few shots, while James Trafford and Konstantinos Tzolakis have faced considerably heavier workloads.

Donnarumma has enjoyed a solid start at Manchester City without consistently dominating matches.

The Italian has stopped 21 of the 30 shots on target he has faced. His 70 per cent save rate places him in the middle of the Premier League’s regular starters, while his three clean sheets represent a respectable return.

Donnarumma’s workload is unusual. City can control possession for long periods, meaning their goalkeeper may have little to do before suddenly facing a clear opportunity. Maintaining concentration…
