Celebrity Traitors star Ross Kemp may seem hard as nails, however it hasn’t always been that way.Â
Before making his name as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders, the actor, 62, starred in a cringy Kellogg’s advert back in the 80s.Â
Dressed in his golfing get up in a white polo top and a baseball cap, Ross couldn’t have looked further from his hardman persona he has been showing off in the Celebrity Traitors missions.Â
A peek of dark hair can also be seen from underneath his hat, filmed before the star went bald. Â
Starring in the Fruit N’ Fibre cereals advert in his mid twenties, Ross sings: ‘A round of golf will wake you up they say.
‘But it’s Kellogg’s Fruit N’ Fibre wins the day. So it’s quite the most important thing to bring.

‘Apples, hazelnuts, bananas… Now our breakfast’s really going with a swim. And if you have got nothing for your tea, Kellogg’s Fruit N’ Fibre helps your cookery.’
The advert was filmed about a year before he made his debut in the soap in February 1990.Â
Famed for his bald head and no-nonsense attitude, Grant was involved in some of the show’s biggest storylines before leaving in 1999 for a new life overseas.
He has since made a series of brief returns, with his last coming in 2026.
However it isn’t the first time Ross has shocked fans with his youthful complexion and tousled hair.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain last year, they showed shots from his younger years sporting a short back and sides shortly after leaving drama school.Â
Ross previously revealed why he would never have a hair transplant after developing male pattern baldness – a condition that affects more than 50 per cent of men – in his youth.
He told The Times: ‘I do try and make myself look presentable, which isn’t easy with this face. I look in the mirror and think: squashed sultana.

‘Do I wish I had a head of hair? Course, but I’d never have hair implants, or plastic surgery to fix this bit under my chin. This is me. If you don’t like it, you know what you can do.’
Meanwhile Celebrity Traitors fans are convinced that Ross will rumble the Traitors‘ latest murder mission as they called out Maya Jama and James Acaster’s ‘GCSE drama’ yawning.
Friday’s instalment of the BBC show ended with the Traitors tasked to murder in plain sight, with the group having to make a member of the Faithfuls yawn by boring them – thus sealing their fate.
In tense scenes, while King Kenny was distracted by Sharon Rooney, Maya and James managed to lure Ross and Jerry Hall into their room, with the pair seen engaging in ‘boring’ conversation while constantly yawning themselves in a bid to make the others follow suit.
However, fans at home have called out the pair over their ‘ridiculously obvious actions’, noting that a highly suspicious Ross will no doubt cotton on to their actions.Â
Taking to X, viewers expressed their fears that the Traitors would be called out by Ross, who has become known on the show for his intense paranoia.Â
