Manchester United are among the clubs tracking Newcastle winger Bazoumana Toure, with fresh scrutiny now building around one of the Premier League’s most intriguing young wide players. According to TeamTalk, the 20-year-old is already attracting attention despite only just starting life at St James’ Park.
Toure joined Newcastle from Hoffenheim in July for around £43 million and signed a deal through to 2031. That context matters. Newcastle have committed heavily, financially and strategically, and there is no obvious appetite to entertain offers any time soon. Still, the market is watching closely.
As TeamTalk reports, “Man Utd and Arsenal are among the clubs keeping a close eye on his progress”, while there is also “interest back in Germany, too.” Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also said to be monitoring developments, although the current understanding is that “none of the four clubs has made a formal approach and won’t do until at least the summer of 2027.”
Manchester United Interest in Bazoumana Toure Grows
From a United perspective, the logic is easy to see. Toure is a left-sided attacker with acceleration, directness and confidence in 1v1 situations. In a market where elite-level wide forwards command huge fees, identifying emerging talent early can be essential. TeamTalk states that “For Man Utd, he aligns with a search for young, high-potential forwards.”

Toure has made only five appearances across all competitions, but he has already scored twice, once in the Premier League against Leeds United and again in the Carabao Cup against West Bromwich Albion. Those early returns, coupled with his profile, help explain why recruitment departments are taking note.
There has also been outside noise around Liverpool, yet that appears less concrete. TeamTalk makes clear that “Some reports have linked Liverpool with interest in Toure from before his move to Tyneside. However, sources have not confirmed this.”
