Former Manchester United forward Dion Dublin has urged his old club to sign Bayern Munich star Harry Kane to return to the top.
The Red Devils currently have Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as specialist striker options. However, Michael Carrick has shown reluctance to start the former RB Leipzig forward consistently.
On the other hand, the Dutchman has struggled to find his feet in the Premier League since joining from Bologna a couple of years ago. Carrick has used Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as a false 9 in recent months.

He isn’t a quick player but is a powerful runner, has vast knowledge of the game, and is familiar with the Premier League’s physicality, having previously showcased his productivity for Tottenham Hotspur.

“Would he leave Bayern Munich or not? Who knows. It would take a lot of money but if you asked me right now to name one centre-forward to take United back to the top, right now the only player who is the complete package you can hang your hat on is Harry Kane.”
Kane has entered the final 12 months of his current contract and is valued at around £51m by Transfermarkt. So, Bayern might be open to cashing-in on him in January to avoid losing him for free if they fail to agree on a fresh term with him.
