FC 27 Clubs Guide – PremierLeagueNow

Learn about what’s new in the Clubs system in FC 27 and how placing into the Grounds makes you interact with it in a new and meaningful way.

FC 27 changes Clubs much more than I expected going in. The basic idea is familiar: build a Virtual Pro (avatar), join a Club, and play together. Everything around that has been expanded, though.

Clubs now reside inside The Grounds, the new shared football world, aka social hub. More importantly, player progression has changed again. Every Archetype is available from the get-go. Masteries reward leveling several Archetypes, while Amps temporarily push builds beyond their normal limits.

There’s a currency called Grounds Coins that covers Club purchases such as Amps and Consumables, avatar customization, and some such. Meanwhile, Ultimate Team uses its own FC Coin economy for the Transfer Market and squad building. Grinding those takes way too long, just like it always did, but luckily there are FC coins for sale also available through this website.

That makes FC 27 less about maxing one Pro and stopping there. I now have a reason to work on and grind different roles and experiment with builds. My progress on one Archetype can even improve another.

In this FC 27 Clubs guide, I’ll explain the five systems that make up the core of the Clubs. I’ll cover The Grounds, Archetypes, progression, competitive modes, and Club Objectives.

FC 27 Clubs and The Grounds

The first change is impossible to miss. Clubs are now part of the social area called The Grounds.

The Grounds is a shared football space supporting up to 100 players. It has a central Terrace alongside Montclair, Zeiza, and Parkside. Each district takes inspiration from a different football culture.

I honestly don’t care much about this new area, though. The important location is the Clubhouse.

That is effectively our Clubs headquarters. I can head there and jump to access the system. Leagues and Playoffs are still there too, so the devs haven’t thrown away the traditional mode.

The surrounding world simply gives my avatar (your in-game custom character) more room to walk around.

There are two stadium entrances worth…
