1992: Arsenal Become a Founding Premier League Club

Arsenal entered the inaugural Premier League season in 1992 as one of England’s established powers. George Graham had already guided the club to league titles in 1989 and 1991, creating a disciplined side famous for its defensive organisation.

However, Arsenal’s first Premier League campaign proved difficult. The Gunners finished 10th during the 1992/93 season, struggling to reproduce the consistency that had made them champions two years earlier.
