As many as 12 players could reportedly leave Chelsea this summer, including big names like Enzo Fernandez and Malo Gusto.

The Blues have a huge squad at the moment, and it could be wise for them to trim it down before the transfer deadline or there’s no way they’ll be able to fit everyone in to their 25-man Premier League squad.

One imagines Chelsea would rather keep hold of key players like Fernandez and Gusto, but it seems they have a price they could consider for the duo.

On top of that, BBC Sport also list the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Liam Delap, Axel Disasi, and Benoit Badiashile as players who can leave Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea could be set for huge clear-out

The report lists the players who could leave Chelsea, as well as their potential price tags, including the potential of £195m to be made from selling Fernandez and Gusto, who we’ve been told are targets for Manchester City.

Their list reads as follows: “Available for sale/uncertain futures, with desired fees for some players in brackets: Badiashile (£30m), Disasi (£25m), Guiu (£25m), Datro Fofana, Delap, Jackson (£65m), Slonina, Gusto (£75m), Fernandez (£120m), Emegha, Neto, Essugo.”

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can shift so many players so quickly, especially as it’s perhaps hard to imagine that many suitors for flops like Delap, Jackson, and David Datro Fofana.

CFC have done a lot of work in the transfer market in recent years, with their American owners opting to focus mainly on recruiting the most highly-regarded young players from around the world.

This has worked in some cases, with the likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, and Estevao Willian looking like fine signings, but others like Marc Guiu have clearly not worked and could now be on their way out pretty quickly.
