With Chelsea once again breaking the bank last week as they welcomed Mykhailo Mudryk to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth up to £89million, clubs from across England’s top-flight have really been splashing their cash this month.

As some still expect what could be a record-breaking January transfer window, it has been heavily suggested that we could be set for a hectic final end to this month’s market.

With teams from both ends of the Premier League table desperately looking to strengthen their squads before the window slams shut, all eyes will soon fall on Deadline Day.

In what could turn out to be a real race against the clock for many clubs, we have taken a look at a few Premier League stars who have been linked with a late January switch.

Hakim Ziyech – Chelsea

While Hakim Ziyech might have now started back-to-back Premier League matchups for Chelsea, it has been heavily suggested that the ex-Ajax star is available to leave Stamford Bridge this month.

Although the 29-year-old might have received a string of plaudits after guiding Morocco to a history-making World Cup semi-final last month, Ziyech is still waiting to open his domestic account this season.

Likewise, watching on as both Noni Madueke and Mudryk arrived in west London over the past week, it is believed that the 50-cap international will struggle to get regular first-team action under Graham Potter.

With the former European champions now focused on slashing their bumper wage bill before the window slams shut, it appears that Ziyech has a string of European admirers.

Along with speculation regarding a potential shock move to London rivals Tottenham, Spanish outlet Sport are reporting that Barcelona are all keeping tabs on Ziyech’s ongoing situation.

The report also suggests that Potter’s side are open to a potential swap deal that would include Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie.
